Zhaleh Moulaei
As a registered architect (Architect AIBC) in British Columbia, I bring over a decade of diverse experience from various esteemed architecture firms. My academic journey began with a degree in Electrical Engineering in Tehran, Iran, before I immigrated to Canada and pursued a Master of Architecture degree at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. Following my graduation, I undertook the Internship in Architecture Program (IAP), which involved a comprehensive and demanding process, including coursework, practical work experience, passing the ExAC exam, and completing an oral review.
Securing my first position in architecture was a challenging and non-linear journey that required strategic planning and persistence. The valuable lessons I learned during this process have equipped me with a deep understanding of the steps necessary for achieving registration and success in the field.
I am passionate about mentoring and supporting fellow architects who are navigating the job market or working towards their registration. My experience allows me to provide practical insights and guidance, helping others to overcome obstacles and achieve their professional goals in the architectural industry.
