Abraham Gomez Vidales
I am a highly experienced professional engineer, registered in Ontario and Saskatchewan, with over nine years of expertise in chemical engineering. My career, which encompasses both public and private sectors, has been marked by a commitment to excellence and innovation in engineering solutions. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico. Following my move to Canada, I pursued advanced studies, earning a Master’s degree from the University of Twente in the Netherlands and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of contributing to leading organizations, including FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe B.V. in the Netherlands, the National Research Council Canada in Montreal, and most recently, as a Senior Engineer at Kinectrics in Saskatoon. My work has involved complex projects that require a deep understanding of chemical processes, advanced engineering methodologies, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to successful project completion.
In addition to my engineering roles, I have also served as a lecturer in various courses at Canadian universities, where I have shared my knowledge and passion for chemical engineering with the next generation of engineers. My experience in academia has strengthened my ability to mentor and guide others, providing them with the tools and insights necessary to excel in their careers. I am dedicated to fostering the development of future professionals, helping them navigate the challenges of the engineering field with confidence and expertise.
