Ayat Saleh
With a strong foundation in electrical engineering gained internationally and 12 years of experience, I initiated my licensing journey with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) in 2017. Successfully completing the Fundamental Engineering Knowledge exam facilitated my acquisition of a provisional license in Ontario by 2018. I then focused on gaining the required Canadian experience, working as a Technical Services Specialist at Salex Inc. and as an EIT at CECI Canada Ltd., all while pursuing a Master of Engineering degree specializing in AI from Toronto Metropolitan University.
In January 2022, I joined Mulvey & Banani International Inc. as a Building Intelligence Engineer, where I leveraged my expertise to obtain my full P.Eng. license shortly thereafter. I am passionate about mentoring others who are on similar paths, sharing my knowledge and experiences to help them achieve their professional engineering goals in Canada.
As a mentor, I can offer advice on the following:
✅ P.Eng. licensing pathways in Canada
✅ Foreign work experience documentation
✅ How to minimize or eliminate the need for technical examinations
✅ Technical interview preparation
✅ P.Eng. licensing examination
✅ License transfer from other provinces
✅ Engineering career pathways
